Online Photobooth

Different places, the same frame.

A browser photobooth for friends to capture a moment together remotely, with a solo mode for taking pictures on your own.

Bring the booth to the browser.

Connected a React and Vite client to WebRTC peer-to-peer video, with WebSocket signaling for room coordination. Google sign-in handles access, a six-character room code invites a friend, and synchronized countdowns help both people get ready before capturing a downloadable photo.

• Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication.
• Shareable rooms with six-character invitation codes.
• Live side-by-side WebRTC video and a full-width solo mode.
• Six single-photo frame styles plus an automatic three-shot photo strip.
• Synchronized instant, three-, five-, or ten-second capture timers.
• Download captured photos directly from the browser.
