THE IDEA

Know what’s in the kitchen.

A household pantry application for checking what is already available before shopping, spotting ingredients that are running low, and reducing forgotten stock.

WHAT I BUILT

Stock levels that become shopping lists.

Built a Vue interface backed by a Spring Boot service. Stock updates validate quantities, while minimum-stock levels feed the shopping list and expiry dates surface items that need attention.

  • Ingredient catalog with quantities, categories, and storage locations.
  • Restock and usage adjustments with negative-stock validation.
  • Minimum-stock indicators and an automatically generated shopping list.
  • Warnings for expired ingredients and items expiring within seven days.
  • Search and filters, with shopping-list export as a text file.
